We had weekly and fortnightly sessions. I had been having sessions with Gurchehn on and off for a period of years virtually and in person. I felt that I was in a safe space to be completely honest about how I was feeling. I knew that the issue I was struggling with would be able to be discussed in a supportive way. I find opening up difficult. Building a relationship with Gurchehn to be honest with how I was feeling was a big thing for me & one she was great at being patient with. This helped build coping mechanisms and healthy mental health habits to combat my mental health issues. Going to therapy is not always the easiest thing to do but I knew every week i would feel better for going. For me, we talked through my thoughts and solved a lot of long term issues i had been struggling with. By the end of the most recent group of sessions I felt a lot of clarity about my mind and developed an understanding & compassion for why I was feeling the way I was.
